Event description
The topic here presented is water as a fundamental source of life at the site Vače from the prehistoric times to the present day. The lecture is divided in two parts. In the first part, the archaeologist Vojka Cestnik is going to present water sources at Vače and the meaning of water for settlers in the prehistoric era. In the second part, the ethnologist Anka Kolenc is describing the water supply at Vače from the middle ages up to the present day, emphasizing the 19th century open-air laundry (uda) and the well.
