We present you a successful joint project of ERUDIO Business School, Franc Bernik Cultural Centre Domžale, and a designer Gabrijela F. Bauer, PhD. The project works on the Creative way to knowledge scheme and is financed by European Social Fund, and Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia. We would like to show how topical straw hat heritage can be, and its option of being used as a base for new products and digital applications. The event will begin at 4 P.M. with a professional symposium Domžale and the straw hat industrial heritage: contemporary (in)sights – it will consider the straw hat making in the light of European, regional, and local heritage. The closure of symposium will be accompanied by the opening of the exhibition New chapter of the straw hat make-ing/-er at 7 P.M., of an author and a project mentor Gabrijela Fužir Bauer, PhD.
