Dear children, on the green hill in a rich valley stands a castle, a fortification which protected and controlled the ways between the Vipava Valley, Karst Plateau and Adriatic Sea since prehistoric times. It is called Rihemberk Castle. Once upon a time, counts and countesses lived here. Who were they, where they came from, how was their life like? We will explore the castle and discover who is living in its abandoned rooms nowadays. How did children in the castle play in ancient times? We will create a medieval toy and play together at the creative workshop. We will meet in front of castle entrance door, above the village of Branik. From there we will follow a tourist guide and medieval dressmaker Evelin Bizjak to explore the castle.
