“Every other art can wait to be judged and valuated; only theatre is attached to moments.” (Oton Župančič) However, these moments also leave traces that can be carefully collected, precisely studied and critically evaluated in order to obtain valuable and useful information, for example, to prepare a historical exhibition. We will get to know various sources, which are carrying messages about the past theatre, such as theater leaflets and flyers, costume and stage sketches, floor plans, manuscripts, postcards, photographs and others. On a few examples of historical material we will reconstruct some impressions of the theater's past.
