In honour of this years World Day of Bees (20th of May), Bohinjska Bela Nursery School is dedicating our yearly Gnomes Walk to the theme AMONG BOHINJSKA BELA BEEHIVES. We will be exploring the beekeeping in Bohinjska Bela in the past. We will prepare a list of all beehives in the village and put them on a map. During the walk we will, with the help of the map, get to know the past and future of beekeeping in Bohinjska Bela. There will be some cultural-artistic programme. The walk will involve the local beekepers and village clubs/organisations and will conclude in the village centre. In the windows of the Village Hall, there will be a photographic display of Bela beehives. The route of the walk could becoma a basis for a future tourist walk in the village.
