Event description
The lecture is dedicated to the rich cultural heritage of Vače, which can be met at every step. The most notable sites are: the Vače market, the church of St. Andrew with the remarkable Holy Sepulchre, the open-air laundry, the flax drying house, the birth house of the composer Anton Lajovic and the bishop Matevž Ravnikar, which was turned into the museum, 250 years old granary, the Geometric Centre of Slovenia at Slivna and the archaeological site above the nearby village of Klenik. The intangible cultural heritage is preserved in the work of the ceramist Barbara Vrtačnik.
