Event description
In 1867 the Drama Society in Ljubljana was founded, which is considered the beginning of the institutionalization and professionalization of Slovenian theatre. On our Theatre Walk we will follow the theatre development from its early beginnings to the establishment of the Slovenian National Theatres. The cultural heritage of Slovenian theatre and drama will be discovered on the spot, in a changing urban environment and placed in its historical, political and architectural context.
