Event description
We are celebrating 100 years of birth of the local sculptor Franc Ahcin (1919-1989). He was born in the museum house Menacenkova domacija. In 2016, our memory was resurrected after almost thirty years, although for several years the idea of a new presentation of the collection in the attic of his birthplace was matured. He was an expatriation artist who gave his collection of more than a hundred of the created works symbolically to his hometown. We will prepare additions of the permanent exhibition and an occasional exhibition on his work and life.
