Event description
In the gallery in the tower of the Žiri parish church the documents and photographs from all periods of "life" of the bells of the parishes Žiri, Vrh Sv. Treh Kraljev, Ledine and Zavratec will be presented: purchase contracts, collecting of money in the parish, bell casting, dedication, coming to church, blessing, lifting the bell tower, ringing, removals of bells during the two world wars. On Sundays, there will be a guided tour to five bells of Žiri parish church with a description of bell history and demonstration of bell chiming.
