Event description
At Easter time in 2021, after six years, the Škofja Loka Passion Play will take place again in the streets of Škofja Loka. As the first Slovenian inscription, it was included in 2016 on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At the workshop, participants will learn about the history, meaning, content and image of this unique example of living theatre heritage and comprehend how the tradition of the Škofja Loka Passion Play continues and is being preserved through its staging practice.
