The beginning of the 20th century was rejuvenated by a generation of important figures, who proposed new forms in puppetry and integrated the artistic work of composers, writers and artists into their art. The travelling exhibition focuses on Milan Klemenčič (1875–1957) and his miniature theatre, Vittorio Podrecca (1883–1959) and his show-biz-inspired marionette puppet theatre, as well as the avant-garde puppetry by Hermenegildo Lanz (1893–1949) who, along with the composer Manuel de Falla and poet Federico Garcia Lorca, is thought of as one of the founders of Spanish puppetry. The exhibition is part of the Lutke 2016 festival and it is accompanied by a series of puppet shows, professional workshops and lectures. As part of the European project will be presented also in Croatia, Spain and Italy.
