Event description
“Every other art can wait to be judged and valuated; only theatre is attached to moments.” (Oton Župančič) However, these moments also leave sustainable traces that can be carefully collected, documented, studied and critically evaluated in order to obtain valuable and useful information about theatre history. We will get to know various sources, which are carrying messages about the past theatre, such as theatre leaflets and flyers, costume and stage sketches, floor plans, manuscripts, postcards, photographs and others. On a few examples of historical material, we will reconstruct some impressions of the theatre's past.
