Within the multi-year cooperation between the cultural heritage custodians of the Museum of the Rezian People on Solbica in Rezia and the Heritage House of the Zavod Pajn from Cerknica in Notranjska, we want to continue the tradition of cultural exchanges, this time with the publication of the new book NA DI DA GÖ, which was created in the Žiwa nawada project of Museum of the Rezian People and publishes also an article by Ljoba Jenče, the host of the event with Heritage House. Our guests from Rezia, Luigia Negro and Catia Quaglia, will present a new book, tell fairy tales in the Rezia language, the singing group Rože Majave will sing some folk songs and, we hope, also dance to the fiddle and buncula music. The hostess will take care of the translations of the fairy tales into literary language and will also sing along with them. This year we celebrate 50 years since the publication of the book ZVERINICE IZ REZIJE, folk tales captured and domesticated by Milko Matičetov and illustrated by Ančka Gošnik Godec (Ljubljana-Trieste, 1973). After the event in the Cultural Center, we will move to the nearby Krpan Gallery for the opening of the exhibition of the students of the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts, who created new works of art on the theme of little beasts (Zverinice) from Resia.
