In our village Vrtovin, we have known for a long time that the route of the ancient Romans passed right by us. They left behind many of their characteristic remains, especially the water tower above Vrtovino. Also interesting are the dry walls and Napoleon's path, which is still visible. Some buildings in the village are the work of Italians, others Austrians. Students will look for characteristics of the passage of different nations near their home and document them (photos, drawings, descriptions). At school, we will review their work and supplement the work with interviews and conversations with villagers who can tell us more. We will present all the obtained data at a public exhibition in September. We will also draw a map of these points, maybe make a booklet with descriptions.
