Event description
The event titled "Where Are Those Pathways That Once Were?" is part of the European Heritage Days, where we will focus on a special Brda tradition - the transportation and trade of dried plums, also known as "prunele". At the event, we will collectively explore the historical routes along which dried plums were once transported and traded, delving into the role of the Brda people in preserving and transmitting traditional knowledge to the world. In addition, we will delve into the cultural heritage and stories associated with this crop. We will also learn about the role of this popular delicacy in the past and present, as an important part of the local and cross-border economy.
