In 2023, the Slovenian self-government established the 33 km long Raba-Region Stations of the Cross, which connects all Slovenian settlements in the Raba Region. In the framework of the DEKD, a hike along this cultural route will be organized, from its beginning in Števanovci/Apátistvánfalva, through Andovci/Orfalu and Verica/Kétvölgy to Sakalovci/Szakonyfalu (7 km). On this occasion, a Slovenian mass will be given in the church in Števanovci, and the teachers and students of the Števanovci Bilingual Elementary School will prepare an exhibition of conceptual designs for the Stations of the Cross logo. In Andovci in the Slovenian homestead, hikers will watch a promotional film on the Stations of the Cross (8 min). In Verica, hikers will learn about the collected household names. In Sakalovice, hikers will be welcomed by a Slovenian folklore group, which will perform a cultural program.
