On the International Day of Older Persons, we invite you to view a wonderful exhibition that is the result of the exceptional creativity and hard work of nearly 100 individuals over the age of 65, who responded to the invitation from the National Institute of Public Health, Kranj Regional Unit, and the Kranj Cultural Society Union. This exhibition was created to emphasize the importance of encouraging creativity and cultural engagement even in later years. Art is not just an expression of beauty and ideas; it also has numerous positive effects on health and well-being. Research shows that actively engaging in creative activities helps maintain cognitive abilities, reduces stress, and strengthens feelings of inclusion and self-esteem. Each handcrafted piece carries its unique story, journey, and message. These creations are not only the product of imagination but also of great skill, rich life experiences, and wisdom that only older individuals can offer. They represent the wealth of our community. The exhibition is on display until October 11, on weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM, and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. You are warmly invited to visit!
