Within the Week of the Child project, we are going to include both DEKD and Unesco ASP network activities. Our guests will be the children of Pikapolonica kindergarten and locals. The students and other participants will be able to partake in workshops with a common theme – bridges. More specifically, wooden bridges across the river Krka, spanning from the Kostanjevica na Krki terciar bridge, originally planned by the famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, all the way to the renovated wooden bridge in the village of Boršt. The motif of a bridge represents architectural and cultural heritage, serves as a foundation for connecting the left and right banks of the Krka river, as well as a foundation for intergenerational cooperation and connection.
