We invite you to a round table dedicated to lesser-known artists from the cross-border area between Vipava, Sovodnje ob Soči and the wider Veneto region. Painters, sculptors, poets, composers and writers who have significantly shaped this region are often overshadowed by more famous names – this time we want to give them a voice and space. The event is part of the "Interreg Italia–Slovenija BEroots – Between Rivers and Lagoons: Artistic Routes" project, which combines cultural heritage with sustainable tourism and active leisure activities. In addition to presenting selected artists and discussing their importance for local and cross-border cultural identity, we will also present three new thematic routes developed as part of the project. These routes are designed for families, senior citizens and children and combine exercise, experiencing nature and discovering cultural heritage through art. The event is aimed at the general public, art lovers, researchers and anyone interested in the heritage of cultural routes, networking and collaboration in an area where different traditions and histories intertwine. The BEroots project is co-financed by the European Union as part of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia programme.
