As part of the COMMHERITOUR project, we invite professional and amateur herbalists to a proactive café workshop on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 5 PM. During the workshop, we will provide thematic guidelines and starting points for creating tourism programs to promote Mekinje Monastery through herbalism and its connection to natural and cultural heritage. By networking and connecting herbalists into a professional community, Mekinje Monastery envisions becoming a central educational and cultural hub for preserving and showcasing herbal heritage and its value for the well-being of nature and people. The workshop will be led by Vlasta Mlakar and Natalija Vrhunc.
