Event description
The wooden statue of Koper’s patron saint, Saint Nazarius, is returning to the Regional Museum Koper after two years. The event will highlight the role and significance of the legendary first bishop of Koper from the 6th century, and will also present the conservation and restoration procedures carried out on the artwork by the experts of the Restoration Centre of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia.
