Event description
In the museum lapidarium located in the gardens of the Belgramoni Tacco Palace stands a large-scale sgraffito mural created in 1956 by the painter Vladimir Lakovič. The event will begin with a presentation of the artwork itself and the history of the site, once a hotel terrace and today part of the museum, followed by an opportunity to observe the experts of the Restoration Centre of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia at work and learn more about the conservation procedures involved and about the technique of sgraffito.
