Event description
The “On Our Own Land” Thematic Trail links the cinematic heritage of the first Slovenian sound feature film with its filming locations in the Baška Valley. Stretching between Grahovo ob Bači and Koritnica, the trail is marked by informative panels featuring scenes from the film, complemented by online and multimedia content. Along the way, visitors can enjoy scenic views while learning about local residents, the filmmakers, the heritage of the National Liberation Struggle (NOB), the local church, a Roman wall, and the region’s first beekeeping association. Each year, the hike is enriched by a cultural programme.
